About Ms. Broxterman

Hello everyone! My name is Marisa Broxterman, and I am the middle school counselor at Odyssey Community School. This will be my ninth year at Odyssey and I can't wait to see everyone back in school. To give you a little background on me: I was born and raised in Manchester, attending Buckley Elementary, Illing Middle School, and then on to Manchester High School. After graduating high school, I went to the University of Massachusetts and received my bachelor's degree in Psychology. A few years later, I completed my Masters in School Counseling at the University of Saint Joseph. I came to Odyssey after working in both the Meriden and Madison school districts as a middle school counselor.

When I am not at school, I love to run, hike and go to the beach. I also try to read, watch movies, travel and spend time with family and friends as much as I can :)
